Our Blenheim Walk 3D sculpture, mixed media and casting resource is located in our new, well-equipped, spacious workshops adjoining the wood and metalworking facilities.
It provides extensive resources for a range of disciplines and student projects. We use a wide range of mould-making and casting materials, both traditional and modern, which are continuously revised and expanded upon.
These facilities are linked to our new ceramics and glass workshop, which offers the ability to work with a wide range of clay bodies and glazes, from heavily textured cranks to porcelain and casting slips.
We also use warm glass fabrication techniques: glass fusing, slumping, and casting. Workshops also provide the facility to produce hand-made papers and a range of felts, including traditional felting, Nuno felting and silk paper.
Structured timetables allow students to use the workshops on a ‘drop-in’ basis.
